Harvey's Story...
Harvey is a sweet, mellow little boy, with a lovely soft coat. A bit timid at first but will want to get near you once he gets to know you. Harvey and his sister were given over to the pound, probably because the novelty of having puppies wore out. His sister got adopted first leaving Harvey very sad. He is just beginning his new life now and will be a perfect addition to anybody. He’s just the right size too. Please let this little boy into your home and heart.

If you are interested in meeting Harvey, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321.

[Harvey is 8 months old and about 20 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harvey, a Marina del Rey Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
