Samantha's Info...

I am purebred and good with dogs.

Samantha's Story...
Samantha came into the shelter because she was not being fed and watered properly. She is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL girl who loves to go walking on her leash. She doesn't tug on the leash while walking. She seems to get along well with the other dogs at the shelter. She is pure St. Bernard. She seems to be laid back and easy going. Samantha will be spayed, up to date on her shots, and heart worm tested upon completion of adoption. If you would like a chance to meet this beauty, please hurry and contact one of the volunteers to meet her. You can call Melodie at 217-822-3980 or Linda at 217-466-1062 and please leave a message with your name and number so we can return the call as soon as we get it. Better hurry. This one won't last long.

Act quickly to adopt Samantha. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Paris St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Paris, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Paris.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paris already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paris breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paris paves the way for another one to be saved.
