found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
He is neutered and current with all his shots, and very healthy! And, he comes with food, bowls, toys, a harness and leash, and many other little goodies for his new home, provided by Musical Truckin Dogs to his new owners.
Musical Truckin Dog's adoption program focus is to rehome death row dogs from shelters across the nation and in 2011 our program of angels saved 1057 dogs with our shows, and all were great adoptions. But many times, especially since we have drivers all across the states who can pick up animals in need, we try to help special cases.
RJ is a very special baby, and deserves to be a prince in the arms of people who will love him and protect him. His eyes may be able to be fixed, but the medicine helps him a great deal. It would be nice for him to be healthy.
It would be wonderful to find someone who can be with him most of the time and can give them a lot of attention as this change will be a little difficult for him, and he really just wants to be loved all the time. And, in return BJ will give you the best love ever, for you helping him be safe.He only wants to be part of everything going on and part of your life!!!!
A note from the RJ . . .
"Hi, my name is BJ and I need a new home! I don't do well on my own, I lost my other home, and that made me sad, but I hope now as I am surrounded by so many people who love me, that I will find new parent/s that will always love me, and help my eyes too.
I'm a tiny miniature poodle who loves human companionship, and I am hypoallergenic too. Plus I am very handsome! And, oh how I love to take walks. I just love it! I am healthy and fit, and not very old. Of course, I am a calm, relaxed, gentleman that enjoys being around humans. I enjoy playing though too. I will fetch a squeaky toy which I could do all day! After I eat my food, I am ready for more. . . and have been known to chase after wildlife if it comes in my backyard. I will let you know when someone approaches the front door... and I am ready to greet them with affection. I am a lover (and this is my Romeo-lover-look), and a licker but I will listen to you if you tell me 'off.' Oh, and did I say that I am house-trained. I have hair, not fur, so if you know anyone that is allergic to dogs... I'm the dog they will love to pet. Who could resist my attractive face! Oh, and I do love to smell the world." So, if you can't resist me. . . because I am so cute and my antics will bring you lots of laughs, then please adopt me, you will never regret it.!"
Just call 951-279-1134 or visit www.facebook.com/musicaltruckindogs to know more about RJ!. And you can come see him this Tuesday in Ontario, California all day. There is a reasonable rehoming fee and he comes with everything you could ever need for him, and of course he is current on all shots, and fixed! Please hurry, as the RJ needs a home soon, he is quite stressed from all his horror. Come make him your baby!
Information on this breed:
Non-sporting or Utility Dog
Poodles are one of the oldest dog breeds known, with their ancestors being traced back to the first century A.D. By the 15th and 16th centuries, large Poodles (similar to today's Standard Poodles) were well established throughout Europe, and were popular as hunting and retrieving dogs for waterfowl. Poodle ancestors were known to be good swimmers, and possibly included links to the Portuguese Water Dog, the Irish Water Spaniel, the Barbet (a French water dog), and the Hungarian Water Hound. Due to its widespread popularity, many countries across Europe had a hand in developing the breed, and although the Poodle probably didn't originate in France, they arguably had the greatest influence in their more modern development. Toy and Miniature Poodles are the same breed as Standards, and were created by simply selectively breeding down from the larger dogs during the 17th and 18th centuries largely in response to a greater demand for companion animals.
Elegant, but sturdily built small dog with a somewhat long and narrow head and muzzle, and long, wide ears that hang close to the face. They have a light springy movement, and generally come in one solid colour only, which may be a shade of black, blue, grey, silver, brown, café-au-lait, apricot, red, white or cream.
In the UK, a Miniature will be at least 28 cm (11 inches) at the shoulder, but less than 38cm (15 inches), and in Canada and the USA the standard is for it to measure greater than 25 cm (10 inches) at the shoulder, up to a maximum of 38cm (15 inches). A Miniature may weigh 7-8 kg (15-17 pounds).
Non-allergenic, curly or wavy coat which grows continually, moults very little, and requires regular grooming and clipping. Regular brushing (perhaps weekly) is required to reduce matting and tangling, and clipping is required every 6-8 weeks to keep the length manageable.
Good natured, friendly, versatile, highly intelligent dog with a bright, lively disposition. Poodles are great characters - they almost seem to have a sense of humour, can learn almost anything, and delight in showing off. Toys and Miniatures occasionally have a slight tendency to be overly sensitive or highly strung, which may make them nervous and snappy. Check with breeders regarding this temperament tendency.
15 years or more
