Meet Caspian! He and his siblings were unable to nurse from their mother after she went into kidney failure about a week after they were born. But we've nursed them all back to health and Caspian is the only one left looking for a forever home! He is tons of fun and loves to follow you wherever you go. He plays as much as he can and has a lot of energy, so he would probably do best in a home with another dog or with someone who has plenty of time and attention to give to him.

(His picture is a month old, an updated picture is coming soon!)

If you are interested in adopting Caspian please go to and fill out the adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caspian, a Dallas Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
