Viola is a sweet and friendly young female blue Tabby cat. She is spayed, up to date on shots, dewormed, and FIV+. Because she is FIV+ she is looking for a home with either no cats, or with cats that have FIV like her. FIV positive cats can live a long and healty life with proper care. However, sometimes FIV positive cats are more susceptible to illness and can go downhill faster then FIV negative cats. For more information on what FIV means in a cat, please check out the article on Best Friend's website: http://www.bestfriends.org/theanimals/pdfs/cats/catfiv.pdf
Normally our cat adoption fee is $100.00. However, our FIV+ cat adoption fee is reduced to only $50.00.
To be considered for adoption for one of our cats, dogs, rabbits, or ferrets, please download and fill out our pre-screening application: http://acadianahumane.org/catblogger/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/2012AHSPreScreeningApplication.doc
You may then fax, snail mail, or email, your completed application to us for consideration. Please email the office at email@example.com or you may also email the foster parent directly to the email address in the description. Applications may also be left with any manager at the Lafayette Petco. Completion of these forms does not guarantee that you can adopt from us. Thank you!
