Belle's Story...
BELLE Female Retriever Border/collie Mix DOB Janaury 2011 Contact rclarkz@aol.com.

BELLE was found as a stray by a long time supporter of Twyla's Friends who tried to find her owners but no one has claimed her. Approx 1 - 2 years old approx 50 lbs. she has a soft, sweet expression and a lovely personality. UTD on all shots, spayed and microchipped. Belle is house trained, crate trained and ignores cats. She has herding instincts, learns quickly and walks nicely on a leash. Very affectionate she would make a great addition to any family. Can you be that family for Belle. Please contact rclarkz@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belle, a Kingwood Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
