Hello! My name is Tobias and I am so excited to finally be in a foster home and on my way to finding a forever family! I am a young 2 to 3 year old Bagle (Beagle / Basset mix) who can be described as sweet, gentle and very loving. My foster parents said you should think of me as a puppy in an adult body since I have the cutest puppy like whimper and I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to play with toys. As playful as I am, I do settle down after play time, and I really enjoy sleeping next to the humans on the couch while they watch TV. What else do you want to know about me???? Oh yeah, I am crate trained, house trained, and a little on the shy side. I am the kind of dog who needs a slow introduction to new surroundings and other dogs. Once I have a few minutes I am good to go, you just need to allow some time so I do not get startled. I do have some issues with my weight, and I am not overly eager to go on walks so my forever home will need to work with me to find a plan that will help me continue with my weight loss.
