Gayle's Info...

Gayle's Story...
Gayle is a really neat looking dog. Her fur is beautiful colors and is growing back now that we've gotten rid of the fleas and she's eating a proper diet. She's a great dog, very sweet, lovable and just darn cute. The vet suggests she's sharpei/border collie. She's mellow, probably 6 or so years old but happy, energetic and playful. She is good with other dogs, we are working on her manners during dinner though. She'd do best in a home with adults and older kids who understand to work with and train her on this issue. She had very bad sores on her skin when we got her but seems to be healing with the good food and no fleas. She'll need to stay on her diet, we simply feed a wheat/corn/soy free diet which is our normal food for all the dogs. She'll be spayed, micro chipped and current on shots previous to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gayle, a Tillamook Shar Pei/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei/Border Collie for sale in Tillamook, or seeking a Shar Pei/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Tillamook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tillamook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tillamook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei/Border Collie breeders who help with Shar Pei/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tillamook paves the way for another one to be saved.
