Looking for your personal panther with a heart of gold, a purr as big as himself, and a meow of a cat half his size? Binx is your man. Binx is not your typical black cat for when he is under natural light you can see his silky fur is actually a warm chocolate brown colour. Binx grew up with many other cats around him and therefore feels the most comfortable with at least one other cat around; he could be the perfect companion for your feline friend. As much as he loves to play with my cat, he also can find fun by himself. Give him a catnip mouse and he’ll be entertained for hours, not to mention it’s adorable to watch. Along with his panther-like playful side, he also has a loving side. If you are sitting or lying in bed, he will be either right beside you or in your lap purring so loud you’d think there was motor inside of him...although once he gets really happy, he may just nibble on your fingers so he may not be the best for small children. He also has a vain side and spends a lot of his time cleaning himself, making sure he’ll look just purrfect for you. He is very good at communicating how he feels and you will definitely know when he’s hungry or feeling ignored. Give this panther a chance to come to you and he’ll never leave.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Binx, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
