Pia's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting these kitties, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Pia is a little bundle of character wrapped in an adorable fuzzy exterior. She is as soft as a plush toy and just as huggable. Even better – she LOVES to cuddle! She will sit by your side to watch TV or take a lazy afternoon nap with you. Pia will follow you around and fall at your feet when she wants a belly rub. She has a quirky fascination with water – she loves to watch water flowing from the tap or kitty fountain, she sometimes drinks with one paw in the water, and she likes to curl up in the bathroom sink even when it’s wet. Pia is a great conversationalist and will chat with you any time, especially when she is hungry. And she has a funny little meow unlike any other kitty I’ve ever met. Pia is truly a unique creature who is full of charm and love.

Pia is paired up with her sister, Ebi. They are a dynamic duo and offer each other a great sense of balance. Although they are comfortable in their foster home, it took time and patience to get to this point. They are both very shy around new people. It will take time for them to adjust to a new home. But rest assured, the effort is absolutely worth it. A great pair of kitties with a deep sisterly bond, Ebi and Pia must be adopted together. They would be a delightful addition to a quiet and loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pia, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
