Crystal's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Crystal's Story...
New to our rescue program, 12-15 month old Crystal is a friendly, happy, still puppyish girl. She always has a Pyr smile on her face. Please check back for more info as we get to know Crystal.
She came to us as an unclaimed stray from a south central Illinois animal control facility so we have no history on her before that. She is very well socialized, knows sit, rides in the car well and gives us the impression she has been inside at some point. She keeps her kennel neat and clean and seems comfortable inside.

Please email cindybarch@gmail.com for an adoption application and more information. A securely fenced yard is required for adoption of our rescues with very few exceptions.

Great Pyrenees Rescue of Central Illinois is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit and is licensed by the State of Illinois. Donations are always greatly appreciated and helpful. Formal receipts for tax purposes are issued. Donations can be made to: GPRCI, 15523 Old Colonial Rd Bloomington, IL 61705

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crystal, a Bloomington Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
