Patty's Story...
Patty is a pretty little girl looking for a home of her own. Look at her adorable face and intelligent eyes. Her mama was a purebred border collie and we dont know who her daddy was but she is a beautiful girl. Patty LOVES to play and gets along great with everyone and she loves rawhide toys and squeeky toys! She is a smart girl and a little shy when she first meets you (for about a minute...lol). Patty is 8 weeks old (April 20th) and she will be a medium size dog. She is a typical puppy so she will need lots of love, playtime, and attention. She will also probably chew and whine and have accidents in the house until she is trained so if you are READY for the joys of puppyhood and you'd like to give her a wonderful loving home please apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patty, a Harrisonburg Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
