Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cooper is a beautiful brown/black with white lover boy. His ancestry is a bit of a mystery but he looks lot McNab and a little bull terrier. His personality is all his own: people-loving, goofy, happy, friendly, outgoing, playful, and a quick learner. He loves treats and toys and chase games.
Coop is an active, fit boy who will enjoy learning fetch games and will be a wonderful and fun companion. He is very well mannered and inquisitive and is SO READY to have a family of his very own. He has great house manners, is very comfortable being handled and knows some basic obedience commands.
He weighs about 50 lbs and is about 2 years old. Coop loves to keep himself busy outdoors sniffing and exploring. He loves the water and even the rain. When most dogs are hiding away inside, Cooper enjoys the raindrops and putters around out in the weather.
Cooper is great with both male and female dogs in play groups or one or one. He is a super nice boy and so wants to please his people
He is a super good boy on leash and is a real hugger & cuddler. He is crate and house trained. Coop gets along with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. He is active and energetic but also quite mellow. He would make a great hiking/walking partner and will also enjoy hanging out and relaxing a the end of the walk.
Cooper loves to lay around on a warm spring day, enjoying soaking up the rays, until his people come along and say, "Let's go, Coop!" He is great with kids and would love a youngster to give sloppy kisses.
Coop is a little too interested in kitties so he is best in home with no cats.
Adoption fees range from $200-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
