Storm's Story...
Storm is a handsome un-neutered Blue Nose American Pit Bull Terrier of about 2 years of age. He has a beautiful (stormy) blue coat with a tidy white bib. Storm is very much a people pleaser and works well with the volunteers on lead or off in the exercise area. He know some commands and is attentive to non-verbal direction. Storm is very relaxed in kennel, he enjoys a Kong, snoozing on his bed with a blanket and his food bowl. Storm acts a bit territorial with some dogs. It's suggested he may do best in a single dog home. Storm is a sturdy fellow whose ready to take a long hike and looks to be able to stay the distance. If you are looking for a loyal companion to share some good times with we suggest you stop by the shelter and meet Storm. Applications now being accepted he will be available for adoption April 30th after 6 PM.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Storm, a Meridian American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Meridian, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
