Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wally is an 18 pound, 2 year old Shih Tzu/wire terrier mix. He came to a Southern Indiana Animal Shelter as a stray. When he first came in to the shelter he was thin with hair matted and dirty and had a fishy odor. Now he eats well, gained weight and looks healthy. He loves to go for walks and walks well on a leash. He likes to be near his people and is a good watch dog. He lives with other foster dogs and is the alpha male in the group and for that reason he would probably do best in a single dog home with no children. He is quiet -hardly barks at all. Likes to be outside in the yard and explore or just lay in the sun. In his previous foster home he didn't pay any attention to their cats. He is house trained. This dog is altered and up to date on shots. The adoption fee is $200. To meet Wally, please call Cathy at 630-605-1096.
