Hellllloooo everyone! My name is Pippy, an adoraBULL Pit Bull Terrier looking for my perfect, fur-ever home! My friends call me Pipp-eroni, Pipp-er-doodle, Pip-Pip-hooray or Pippy-do...you can call me any of those things because I'm just SURE we're going to become fast friends! Let me tell you a little about myself. I was rescued off the county euthanasia list by my pals at M.A.I.N. I had a condition called "happy tail"- basically I wagged my tail so much that it kept hitting the kennel wall causing bleeding, sores and pain. That just goes to show you what a happy guy I am, even in a sad place like the pound! That's all behind me now though and I'm ready to settle down in the perfect home.
I'm a real energetic guy and I would love to go to an active family that can take me on hikes and walks and give me lots of toys to keep me entertained! I'd make a great exercise buddy. My favorite game is for you to chase me when I have a toy in my mouth- boy, that's fun! My other favorite thing is water- I love to swim! I've heard there's a real big pool called a "lake" around here...maybe you could take me?! I think other dogs are great and would make a wonderful new friend for your dog at home.
Don't worry, I have a mellow side too. I LOVE people and love to cuddle with my friends. I'm what you would call a "people pleaser" and I'm always eager to learn something new. I already know "sit" and walk very calmly on the leash. I'm also crate trained! I'm such a good boy, I'm sure you'll want to give me lots of treats and I take them very gently from your hand. I have great manners!
I'm SO full of love, but I'm not so sure I want to share all my love with a doggy sibling and would do best as an only dog or with an experienced owner who can continue my training.
