Update...guess who is walking again!! He is all over the house now and can get in a low sided litter box just fine!! 4-24-12 Our sweet, special needs boy Khan was rescued from craigslist when someone saw him being given away and worried where he would end up. He has a neurological problem, cerebellar hypoplasiaor something similar. Currently he is unable to walk but rolls to get where he is going. He seems to be getting stronger and can sometimes stand on his own and take a few steps. He cannot get in the litter box by himself but will let you know when he needs to go and i just lift him in and out. He is absolutely the sweetest, most affectionate cat and loves people and being held. He plays, feels great, and isn't suffering..he is just special and will require a special home. Because of his inability to walk his front paws curl under and his nails need trimmed on a regular basis to prevent them growing into his pads and he needs some extra help with personal hygiene sometimes, but other than that he is a pretty easy keeper. He loves the other kitties and loves to play as he is just a kitten at a little over a year old. He has no other health problems and is just a happy kid! Can you provide a safe, loving, special forever or foster home for this wonderful boy? Please e-mail for more information or an application. E-mail is ALWAYS our first contact. Khan is neutered, fully vetted, current on all shots and tested FeLV/FIV- Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org directly and don't use the auto response...thanks!
