Cherry's Story...
As HAHS has several different locations, please contact their foster mom, Marlo, DIRECTLY at fostermomhahs@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting CHERRY.

Cherry is a very active 8 week old puppy. She is very shy at first and takes time to warm up to new people. Once she gets to know you though, she loves to get tummy rubs and climb in your lap. Cherry loves to chase tennis balls (short distances of course) and play tug of war with the dog toys. Cherry has been a quiet puppy so far but with the beagle genes that could change anytime! Because of her shyness Cherry would do best in a home without small children. If you have questions or would like to fill out an application to adopt Cherry, contact her foster mom Marlo directly at fostermomhahs@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cherry, a Overland Park Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
