Mickey is a quiet, shy girl looking for a family to show her lots of love and attention to help break through her shyness. She unfortunately had a rough start to life at a puppymill as a breeder dog. Due to the lack of care at the puppymill she had a broken jaw and had to have 6 abscessed teeth removed once she was in rescue. Because of that, she needs a softer type of dog food but shows no signs of discomfort now. Regardless of her previous life she has a wonderful disposition; her tail wags constantly! She would do much better in an environment with another dog and must have a fenced in yard. There is still room for improvement when walking on a leash, but on a positive note she is housebroken. She has yet to have an accident in the house. She likes older children and shows no signs of aggression whatsoever. On a cute note, when she wants to play with other dogs, she squeaks. So absolutely adorable!
