Grady's Story...
A mama dog wandered up to a home in the county, and a week later had puppies. The people kept the momma dog and had her fixed, we took the puppies and got them ready for adoption. Mother was speckled, maybe blue tick or heeler. Grady! is a young dog that likes everyone and listens well. He came in as a goofy little pup and is now growing in to a great dog that would do good as an outdoor dog, but could learn quickly to be a wonderful indoor buddy. Come see if he could be your new buddy today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grady, a Batesville Hound (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Batesville, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Batesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Batesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Batesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Batesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
