Hoodie's Info...

Breed: Tibetan Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) Mix Color: Gray/Silver/Salt & Pepper - With White Age: Adult
Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less Sex: Male
Hoodie's Story...
Hoodie is 2.5 years old and is a neutered male dog, He is house trained.

He was found roaming as a stray in Los Angeles, CA, a good samaritan picked him up immediately before he was in any danger of getting hit by a car from the busy street.

He had no ID tag and no microchip either. Not being able to find his original owners for weeks, he is now looking for a new home.

Hoodie has a very shiny coat, he weighs about 14lbs, and we think he is a Tibetan Terrier or Schnauzer mix. He has beautiful light blue eyes.

Hoodie is.....extremely gentle and calm. He loves being loved and petted, and adores being the center of attention. He is very adaptable and tends to enjoy having another gentle and friendly doggy playmate in the home.

His foster parents can only say good things about him. Hoodie is just a happy boy and is content getting belly rubs or even being picked up and getting hugs. He is eager to play with other dogs but he tends to be a little shy at first.

He can also be a little shy at first with people, but once he gets to know you he will follow wherever you go like a shadow. He loves laying next to his foster family indoors. Please give Hoodie a second chance by adopting him and giving him a safe and loving home.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vet checked, and are up to date on all vaccinations.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
Happy Angels Dog Rescue (formerly, Happy Ending Rescue) is a Non-Profit 501 (c)(3) non profit dog rescue organization. We are a Non-Kill rescue group and we specialize in small breed dogs.

Each dog we rescue is placed in a foster home until we find them a permanent home. In foster care we are able to evaluate each dog's specific needs, this allows for a more compatible and successful adoption.

Our goal is to find wonderful new homes for stray dogs and dogs that have been neglected or abandoned. We are also dedicated to reducing dog overpopulation; we spay or neuter all of our dogs before adoption.

We are also a global alliance dedicated to saving dogs world wide.

Our partner rescue in South Korea works tirelessly to save dogs from dog farms where they are raised like cattle and slaughtered for their meat.

Amongst the South Korean population that does not eat dog meat a growing segment of proactive supporters has been fighting for animal rights; fighting to bring about the long overdue realization that eating dog meat, a Korean tradition born during times of life-or-death, is now unneccesary and its continued practice is inhumane.

Once rescued from these dog farms, It can be hard for these rescued dogs to find homes in Korea because the majority seeks young puppies of a purebred bloodline, not adult dogs of mixed breeding.

So with our exceptional dog rescue partners, our canine friends receive a one-way ticket to Los Angeles where they can be united with a loving family and a forever home. (The one-way ticket are funded solely by donations.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hoodie, a Los Angeles Tibetan Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Tibetan Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Tibetan Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Tibetan Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Tibetan Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
