Sarah's Story...
Sarah was saved from a local animal shelter after she was surrendered to the shelter because the owners didn't want her any longer. Rescued Friends came to her rescue immediately! Sarah is approximately 3 months old and gets along great with other dogs. She's a really sweet, loving dog and LOVES children. She isn't housebroken or completely crate trained yet but is a quick learner and is picking it up quickly. We believe she was starved because she was extremely skinny when rescued. She's has started gaining some weight and looks a lot better. Sarah weighs approximately 5lbs. Sarah's adoption fee includes; spayed, two sets of puppy boosters, bordetella vaccine, started on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarah, a Arlington Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
