My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TRAPPER is a sweet, shy and quiet older guy, who weighs about 10 lbs.
He likes a more quiet atmosphere, will sit with or near humans but if there is a lot of activity, he prefers to stay out of the way of the other dogs.

TRAPPER understands what is said if asked if he wants to go for a ride, walk or outside. Uses a doggie door in his foster home. He will take a treat at bedtime on occasion and doesn't mind going into a crate at night. Has a very gentle, sweet nature, minds very well and comes when called by his name or if you whistle for him. Is extremely obedient. It seems obvious that he came from a caring household as he has good manners and has apparently been taught not to jump on people, rarely barks and is not afraid of humans.

TRAPPER is being fostered in PUTNAM county. To learn more about adopting him, go to http://www.coastalpoodlerescue.org/poodles/poodledetail.cfm?DogID=1561

Can't adopt right now? Consider becoming a foster home for a rescue dog; it's temporary, but very fulfilling and your only cost is their food! Fill out a volunteer application from our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org

APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLY FROM FULL/PART-TIME RESIDENTS OF FLORIDA AS A HOME VISIT IS REQUIRED; NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN FLORIDA, PLEASE LOOK FOR RESCUE GROUPS IN YOUR HOME STATE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.
