Bit-O-Honey's Story...
My name is Bit-O-Honey and I am a sweet little boy at approximately 4-5 years old. I am a beautiful long haired, maine coon mix, buff colored guy. RCAF believes I am also a persian mix, because I have a beautiful sweetheart face! I was found wandering around by a teenage boy who brought me to my foster mom. I am still getting used to my foster home. Id probably do best in a home with just one other cat or as a solo cat. Foster mommy has no dogs, so I cant tell you how I would be in a home with them. Please give me a chance to be the Bit O Honey in your life! I am neutered, current on my vaccines, negative for FeLV/FIV and even had a dental. My estimated date of birth is 2007. I am spayed neutered, current on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Email: for more information and...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bit-O-Honey, a Cleveland Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
