Alpha is a very handsome boy with the most luxurious coat ever. He is pretty easy-going and gets along with most of his foster siblings, although he will challenge unneutered males. He doesn’t like other dogs in his face or sniffing him and he will ‘low growl’ to warn them off. He must have a person who is able to be a strong pack leader setting strict expectations for him and his behavior. He is so smart and so completely devoted to people and he is a joy to have around. He is just a great guy and he is ready to start his new life with a great new forever family!
If you think Alpha might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online. Please review our adoption process at http://www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/info/adoption and contact us if you have questions about the process.
We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process. We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.
When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Alpha picks you too.
If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
Please feel free to email email@example.com if you have additional questions.
