Joey is a tiny 3.3 lb. 2 year old male Chihuahua. We found Joey sitting "Oh So Patiently" in a small cage at the Moreno Valley Shelter just waiting for someone to come for him. We knew we could not leave this little doll behind to an unknown fate.

Joey is a sweet, quiet, easy little dog. He likes to sit contently in his little dog bed for much of the day and is friendly and playful with the other little dogs in his foster home. His confidence grows everyday. He now has moments where I catch him trotting along with his tail held high, instead of between his legs. He comes over to lay with me and gently nudges my hand asking to be pet. There is something about Joey's sweet timid nature that makes you want to let him know that he is now safe and cared for. He will continue to bloom with a loving family of his own. Joey would do well in a Condo because he is not a barker. He would be great as an only dog or he would make a great canine companion to another tiny dog like himself.

Joey was obviously housebroken in his previous home. He knows to do his business outside and has not ever tried to lift his leg in the house. He is not much of a marker even when outside. He is a very good boy and has been really easy to have around. Joey took an immediate liking to my son but because he so small he needs a home without children under 12 years.

Joey is neutered, micro chipped, housebroken, rabies, de-wormed and up to date on his vaccinations. If you would like to meet Joey please contact Theresa at treasuredtailsrescue@hotmail.com or call 951 852-7999
