Chica's Story...
Hola damas y caballeros! Mi nombre es Chica del perro fantástico! I'm a very typical Shepherd - energetic, smart, and loving too. Although I already know a lot, I'm still a big puppy at heart, so I need some more training. I make a great running partner and I’m housebroken too (except for the very occasional nervous accident…vacuum cleaners are scary things! I just need a patient person ready to invest the time and love it takes to raise a “perro fantástico”!!! Could that person be you?
2 1/2 years old-40lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam , 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chica, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
