Alexandra's Story...
Alexandra and her brothers were found alone outside in a park but have adapted beautifully to indoor life. She likes her cuddles and playing with the children and other cats but is still a bit leery of the dog. This gorgeous young lady with the striking gray coat is looking for her new home, one where she can bring her brother, Hyde. They are very bonded and love taking naps together. She also loves chasing and jumping for a bouncing ball (her favourite toy) and can play with that for hours! She’ll also bat the ball along the ground and play by herself. Very sweet and playful. Interested in meeting this lovely couple? Please fill out an adoption application and one of our adoption co-ordinators will get back to you. DOB Sep 1, 2011.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexandra, a Mississauga, Ontario Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Mississauga, Ontario, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Mississauga, Ontario.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mississauga, Ontario already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mississauga, Ontario breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mississauga, Ontario paves the way for another one to be saved.
