Austin's Story...
Austin is a sweet and loving boy. He is a playful boy but also has his calm side too. He enjoys playing with the other doggy fosters in the house and would be a good companinion for another dog. He would also do well as an only dog too. He just wants to give his people love! Austin is in a foster home with cats and leaves them completely alone. Austin also responds to his name and basic commands. He is crate trained. He sleeps all night in his crate with no issues and is working on housetraining.

Austin is around 18mths old and about lbs. Updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Austin, a Houston Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
