DEXTER's Story...
Sweet, dear Dexter! He is very soft natured and mellow, just wants to get along. He was brought here by his prev. owner. He is 1 1/2 year old and he weighs 53.5 lbs. They told us he was abandoned at their home a few months ago, but they’ve now lost their home and just can’t keep him. They told us he loves car rides! They also said he doesn’t chew on household items & doesn’t jump fences. They told us he is good w/other dog and he adapts very well to new situations & people.
Dexter is waiting here very patiently, hoping he will be one of the lucky ones to be picked. He is quiet and sweet. He walks perfectly on a leash & loves to go for walks. He also has a good time when out in our exercise yard! Such a Sweetheart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DEXTER, a Corona Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Corona, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Corona.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corona already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corona breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corona paves the way for another one to be saved.
