Rowdy's Story...
Hi!  I am a Beagle puppy and guess what?  I act like one.  I love to play and boy do I ever love to cuddle. I have almost learned how to keep the house clean, if you know what I mean and I am already kennel trained too!  My best qualities are giving love, getting love, playing and hopefully soon learning all the great stuff that good doggies know.  I bet you need a little "Rowdy" in your life. 6 months old-14lbs. My adoption fee is $250 and includes; current shots, neuter rebate, 1 month pet health insurance, Free vet exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area), 5 week Good Manners training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rowdy, a Portland Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
