Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PRINCESS GRACIE
8 1/2 year old Female Blue Point Ragdoll
Regular adoption fee: see below
COURTESY POST
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.
Princess Gracie is a beautiful and loving 8½-year-old Ragdoll. She was the cherished kitty of an older woman who can no longer take care of her. The woman's daughter took Gracie in, but there are other cats in the household, and Gracie really wants to be a single cat.
When not confronted with other cats, Gracie is a very laid back and mellow girl. When she wants attention, she can be very persistent until she gets what she craves, which is to be the center of her owner’s world. If you don't respond to her pleas for attention, she will reach out with her paw as if to say, "Hello, it's my turn now!" Gracie has never lived with children but has been around relatives’ 9-year-old twin girls and was well behaved with them.
The Ragdoll breed is known for its large size, striking blue eyes, and mild temperament. Ragdolls have semi-long, silky hair that does not require the daily grooming of a Persian or Himalayan; still, regular brushing is important. Most owners who have Ragdolls brush them perhaps twice a week. The name "Ragdoll" is derived from the tendency of individuals from the original breeding stock to go limp and relaxed when picked up.
Princess Gracie would prefer to live with someone who has plenty of time to spend with her, in a relatively quiet home with no other cats or dogs. She is spayed, micro-chipped, current on vaccinations, and comes from a FELV/FIV negative cattery and has always lived indoors as an only cat. If you think this may be the girl for you, contact Karen at 707-301-6425 or by email at k.pahler@comcast.net. Please know that Gracie is not in a Purebreds Plus foster home. She is residing in the Sacramento area, with her current owner who is placing her. Adoption fee applies.
