Hello People!
I'm Reggie, a darling little pup who is only 10 months old. And, although I weigh a mere 12 pounds I'm here to prove that good things come in small packages.
My foster Mom describes me as "a snugglebug," which is kind of funny ‘cause I'm not a bug at all! I'm a bichon! But she said it means that I like to be close to her (and other people) all the time. Well, okay then since that's true, I guess it's okay to call me that. And besides being a snuggle bug Mom says I’m the sweetest and most gentle little guy on the planet! (Gee, thanks Mom!)
Dad says I’m a great walker! We go for at least a one mile walk every morning and I love it! I get to smell the grass, enjoy the sunshine and see other dogs along the way. Dad says I’m also good in the car. I just lie quietly in the backseat while we go ‘cruising’ and I never bark or cry. He calls me a mellow fellow (and he likes me a lot!)
The greatest thing about being a puppy is that you get to play! It's fun! Right now I’m the only furkid in the house so I don’t have a lot of interactions – but I do enjoy being with other furkids. Why last week-end I was at Pet Expo and got to play, be petted (everyone wanted to touch me!) and thoroughly enjoyed myself!
Because I'm such a young guy, I'm still learning things like my commands. And to be housetrained. (I'm just about perfect in that already.) but I really want to please and am smart - so I'm sure I'll be the bestest little bichon in practically no time!
To sum it all up, Mom says I’m an affectionate, sweet, darling, mellow and happy little guy. So what do you think? If you have other furkids they could be my play buddies! If you have kids, that would be great too! And if you don't have any other dogs or kids and are active and home most of the time, then you could be my play buddy (and later I could just snuggle up on your lap, and go to sleep.)
