Find a pet to adopt
I am already spayed and up to date with shots.
Hello. My name is Pumpkin and I am a 9-year-old female Orange Tabby with green eyes. I am a rare find as far as orange tabby cats go. I was owner surrendered to High Sierra because my owners are moving and cannot have cats in the new house. I am a loving cat one I get to know you. I love to sleep under the bedcovers when it is cold. I am shy and a little bit skittish. I am considered a senior cat and would be great for a senior. If you would be interest in me, please call High Sierra Animal Rescue and ask about me, Pumpkin.

much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.

or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who
help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten
adopted in Portola paves the way for another one to be saved.
