ADOPTION PROCESS

Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application.  Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check.  2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Scottsdale and Phoenix area, as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).

Clarence, like many other innocent dogs, found himself at the shelter and ended up on their euthanasia list for no other reason than because they had run out of space.  Our boy is one of the lucky ones - we scooped him up and gave him his 2nd Chance.

Handsome and being an absolute love bug are just a few of my noticeable characteristics.  I am always happy, playful and silly.  I get along with some dogs, but would be most content being the only dog. Because I have been in rescue for several years, my new family will get the help of a trainer to assist all of us with my transition to cushy home life, paid for by 2nd Chance.

I do admit; I am not a good companion for cats. I would thrive learning new commands and would work exceptionally hard to become your perfect companion. I was given my 2nd Chance several years ago, but because I am a 'Brown Dog' - I am easily overlooked, but believe me when I say I am a great boy!

At six years old, I still have plenty of energy to be your running or hiking buddy...playing in the water and taking car rides are just a few of my favorite things to do. I am neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an Adoption Consultation Application.

We gave Clarence his 2nd Chance, but we need you to give him a loving, forever home.
