Ruff Ruff! My name is Emma-Wemma
|Breed:||Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) Mix||Color:||Brown/Chocolate||Age:||Young|
|Size:||Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less||Sex:||Female||ID#:||3601628-259467|
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Emma needs to go to a home that has low activity. She is a very nervous dog. She bonds very tight to one person. She was an owner surrender just for that reason. She has bonded with me, but has a hard time with everyone else. The person who adopts her would need to have a lot of patience...especially at the beginning. It took several days to get Emma to trust me, but when she started trusting me, she won't leave my side. Emma sleeps with me. In fact, her favorite place is on top of my pillow so I have learned to share. She gets along great with all my other dogs, but they are all small. I'm not sure how she'd be with larger dogs. She knows the commands of "sit, lay down, & go outside." Emma is a very special dog with special needs. She has a lot of love to give, but will need a lot of your time in the beginning for about a week.

Rescue Group Info...
The vision for ACT has been brewing in the minds of the Animal Compassion Team founders for many years. The paths we have walked have prepared us and tested our determination through hard work, buckets of tears, mountains of fecal matter (a favorite topic of discussion amongst animal rescuers), and more then our fair share of discouragement and heartbreak. Having said that, why would we choose to dive in deeper? For the love of the animals we serve. It is just that simple. Dogs, cats, and other wonderful animals are dying in huge numbers daily. We hope to help change that. In August of 2009 we became a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation with the state of California and the Federal Government. It was, and continues to be, a huge leap of faith for all of us who already feel overwhelmed by the work we are doing but we believe this is the time....this is what we have all been preparing for. One life saved makes all the effort and emotional investment worthwhile. This is going to be an exciting journey and we hope to post MANY happy endings. New animals arrive daily......stay tuned .....we have only just begun!
