CASH AKA PeeWee (LM)'s Story...
Please contact Lorraine (mattison50@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.

Cash is a 7 yr old male Chihuahua mix. Mixed with what is a good question. This little boy was very  overweight when he first came into foster care and with not over feeding and exercise his foster mom has reduced his weight greatly.  He is barrell chested which is part of his bone structure and that is why he appears bigger in size.

Cash responds only to his original name of PeeWee. He is housebroken and very well behaved and gets along with other dogs he is being fostered with. Cash  will use doggy stair to climb up and down a couch or bed. He loves cuddling up next to you  for hours, but does not like being held for very long. He is slow on a walk, but can move fast when he wants to.  Cash cant understand why he is still in foster care if he is such a good boy! This little guy would be a loyal companion and a welcome joy to a forever loving home.  Cash will probably do best in a home with a newly retired person or couple.

About a year ago there was a small canine war over a cookie under the couch and a larger dog over took PeeWee. He was rush to the emergency vet where surgery was done to remove his right eye.  PeeWee has healed nicely and his vision in his left eye was not effect and is back to his normal self.

Cash is dewormed for intestinal parasites, microchipped, dental, heartworm NEG, neutered, up to date on all vacs including rabies and currently on a heartworm and flea preventative. He comes with one free vet visit and his adoption donation is $150.

About Lost Angels Animal Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted dogs. We take our pets from kill shelters, owners who can longer care for them, and strays. They are completed vetted and then fostered in our homes until the perfect family can be found for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We show our adoptable dogs on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm at:

Petco
13127 North Dale Mabry Highway
Tampa, FL 33618
(located at the corner of N. Dale Mabry Hwy and Fletcher Ave.)

Not every foster family has the ability to show their dogs every weekend. Please contact the foster family at the email or phone number listed in the dog's biography to find out if they will be participating at the Petco on Saturday.

Our Adoption Process...

Filling out an application is an important first step in our adoption process. These can be downloaded from our website: www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org.

Meeting the dog you are interested in, asking questions and talking with the foster parent(s) about their foster pup is the next step. (can be combined with step 1 if you meet the dog at one of our many adoption events)

The foster parent will do a thorough check of your completed application (especially vet references) and possibly do a home visit with their foster dog before making a decision on their placement. (This is not 'first come, first served'. We only complete adoptions to homes that offer what is best & needed for our foster dogs; ie. a fenced yard, someone home longer hours with the dog, etc )
