Nestle has been my sister's dog in Ohio for 7 years and has lived most of her life in a crate. She has also had a history of what she thought was a skin allergy. I only go home to Ohio 1-2x a year and seeing her always breaks my heart. I've taken her to the vet for her before, but she never followed up. SO, when I was home over New Year's...Nestle had huge red bald spots on her sides, ears, chest and I brought her back to AZ with me.
She is on special hypoallergenic food and some meds...working with vet to try to pinpoint her allergy. She looks much better and her hair is growing back.
She is very sweet and affectionate with people and has even done well at the dog park. However, she is very food/treat/stuffed toy aggressive, so NEEDS TO BE ONLY DOG in a home. She's fine on leash walks with my other dogs and the dog park. She is good with kids and cats. She is housebroken...has learned to use the doggie door.
