Elizabeth's Story...
Elizabeth is a young pug mix---possibly pug mixed with beagle, who came to us with a horrible skin condition. She's made some progress but still has a way to go. So, she'll need a home with people willing to give her some special care. She's a real sweetheart and certainly worth the effort. Elizabeth was surrendered to us because her owner couldn't take care of her or her brother.. According to their owner, Elizabeth was kept in the garage, and it is obvious that she was very neglected. We've found Elizabeth to be a friendly and well behaved dog, and she even appears to be house trained. Elizabeth is 4 years old and has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Elizabeth is still somewhat shy, but she doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and she is in dire need of tender loving care. If you have questions about Elizabeth, please contact her foster mom at animalesq@aol.com If you are interested in adopting Elizabeth, please complete the adoption application by clicking the link below.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.
