Paliminio's Story...
When the odds are against you; you rise up to life's challenges as did Palaminio. Born deaf, his other senses are keen; even though there has been little stimulation. Tied up most of his life; this guy now enjoys running and playing in foster parents yard. When he was at the shelter, they called him the Gentle Giant; with a great soul...Palimino is just waiting for a new family and to start his new life. He is good with other dogs, is between 2 and 3 years old and about 55 pounds. Please contact: or 916-420-5798

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paliminio, a Sacramento Labrador Retriever/Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Dalmatian for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Dalmatian breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
