chico's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

chico's Story...
My name is Chico, I am an adorable 3.5lb 5month chi/doxie who was hidden in a kill shelter by volunteers hoping a rescue would take me. I was labeled as unadoptable since I was timid toward people and very thin since I wasn't eating at the shelter. Do you blame me it was scary there.
The day I was rescued from Tiny Paws I was bathed and the water was bright red from all the fleas. Now clean and feel good.

I am a love bug and happy. Get along with other dogs and need a home w/ no kids under 10 due to my size

Why Adoption is a Great Option

chico, a New Milford Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
