Twiggy's Story...
Hi my name is Twiggy and I am 5 years old. Weighing just 5 pounds. I am currently in a foster home with a 9 year old boy, dogs and a cat and I get along great with them. My last owner did not take care of me at all and so now my hair looks a mess and my first picture shows you what I think of those bad people.
. But my nice foster mommy is giving me vitamins and good dog food and I'm eating and drinking and getting my strength back. I am beginning to wag my tail and absolutely love to be carried everywhere like a baby. If you believe that you can give me a warm loving forever home and take good care of me then please give Linda a call 917 319 4304 Have all my shots and will be spayed

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twiggy, a Long Beach Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
