Charlie's Story...
Meet Charlie, a 10 month old Red Bi Australian Shepherd female with a tail, she weighs 30 pounds soaking wet. We like to consider her our Foxy Lady, in more ways then one! Charlie is up to date on all her shots and spayed and heartworm negative and housebroken.
Charlie is a real character, she loves everyone she meets, adult men or women, children, any age is fine with Charlie, she just loves life and all it brings with it. She is great at playing soccer, loves all toys, loves to play with her step brother Tyler (also an ASRM Aussie for adoption) and is good with the family cat. She will chase and try to play with the cat.
Charlie rides well in a car, crates well in the car and home. She does need some work on a leash so be prepared for a little work there. Charlie has decided she loves to snuggle but on in bed, again that Foxy Lady thing.
Charlie is living the cool life in SW Minnesota, so to adopt this Australian Shepherd click here: Aussie Rescue Midwest Adoption Application. Reference ASRM 0085.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Blooming Prairie Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Blooming Prairie, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Blooming Prairie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blooming Prairie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blooming Prairie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blooming Prairie paves the way for another one to be saved.
