Pocus's Story...

Pocus is a Beagle, neutered male, 3 years old, 31 pounds.

He was rescued from a family who could no longer care for him due to financial reasons. He has a great personality, very affectionate, loves people and children. Pocus is playful and loves to play tug. He likes to go for walks.

Pocus is not yard trained, he would need a home with a fenced yard or invisible fence. Pocus would be best suited for a family or person who can spend time with him, he needs companionship, does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. He loves car rides and travels well. Pocus has been neutered, teeth cleaned, all vaccines. Potty trained. A fantastic dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pocus, a Brighton Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
