Rusty's Story...
AARF only adopts in Richmond, Virginia.

Hi, my name is Rusty and I am happy to be alive!! Me and my siblings, received our first puppy shot and broke with parvo and ended up at the VRCC for over a week!! AARF spent over $6000. to save our lives!! But we are all better now and are looking for a new, loving home to call our own!! Our mom was a mastiff and our dad was a bloodhound!!
We were rescued by a person that wanted to get us out of a bad situation while we were still very young.

Rusty is the sweetest little boy, he is the smallest of all of the litter. He has the cutest little face.
He is v very sweet and loving, has been around children and other dogs.
Rusty always sits and watches when other puppies are going inside,he and wants you to pick him up and carry him in.
We will need a fenced in yard to play, in!!
If you are interested in meeting me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Richmond Mastiff/Bloodhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Bloodhound for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Mastiff/Bloodhound puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Bloodhound breeders who help with Mastiff/Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
