My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barkley is a very handsome black lab under 2 years old. He is a very happy go lucky kind of fellow. He is very friendly and likes everyone he meets. He is a big cuddle bug and loves to climb up into your lap, all 70 lbs of him. He already knows some basic commands such as “sit”, “kennel up” “shake”, and “outside.” Given that he is a very smart boy who is treat motivated and really likes to please, he will be very easy to train to be a super star. Barkley gets along great with all his foster siblings and loves running in the yard as well as playing with his toys. That beautiful sweet face says it all and could warm any heart. Barkley is house trained and has great house manners and he would be considered a medium energy boy. He likes being with his people and would be a great candidate for a hiking, running or swimming partner or just a great companion and buddy for any family. Not sure how Barkley is with the kitties, but with his personality, we would be surprised if he were anything but good.
Barkley is neutered, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, and micro-chipped. He is a truly awesome boy and if you think he might fit into your easygoing, but active lifestyle, please indicate Barkley in the notes section of the online application.
