My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake is a 2-year-old handsome yellow lab. This adorable full of personality guy loves to cuddle, go on long walks and just hang out with his people. His tail is always wagging, and he loves to turn over for belly rubs. Jake is a very gentle soul who is even tolerant of his puppy sibling jumping all over him, even when he is tired and trying to just get some rest. His gorgeous golden brown eyes reflect this gentleness and his sweet gazes just melt your heart. It is thought that Jake would be good with children of all ages. He did hang out with his temp foster’s baby for a few days and was the perfect gentleman. Given how nice he is with cats, people and other dogs, it's easy to believe that he would do well with anyone and everyone. Jake has quickly mastered sit and stay and is learning other basic commands as well. He walks gently on his lead and is a great car passenger. He is crate and house trained. Although he has made no attempts to jump his foster’s fence, Jake is an athletic boy and would require a tall privacy or invisible fence and/or leash walking to keep him safe. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, micro-chipped and ready to find his forever home.
