Duke von Darmstadt's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

Duke von Darmstadt's Story...
Duke von Darmstadt is a stunning, 4 year old Geman Shepherd. He is large, confident and eager to please. Duke knows his commands, walks well on the leash and is always ready for his favorite game, tug-of-war. Don't be so sure you'll win, Duke is a very strong dog. Duke is looking for his "someone special" to provide the strong and fair leadership, structure and guidance he needs. It will be repaid with everlasting love and loyalty. Duke would do best in a home without small children (because he's so strong) as an only dog or in a home with a more submissive female dog. In addition to being neutered, microchipped and up to date on all shots, Duke is ready to fulfill his destiny of being someone's best friend forever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke von Darmstadt, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
