Buttercup's Story...
Hi, I’m Buttercup. I’m a lovely 3 year old girl looking for my forever home. I am very affectionate and love to cuddle, but also enjoy some alone time every once in awhile. I would do best as the only cat in my new family but could probably coexist with a mellow dog that would not bother me. Calicos, like me, tend to rule the house so be prepared to treat me like a princess! Please come in and fill out an adoption application if you are looking for a mature and loving cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttercup, a Bellingham Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
