Wake up and smell the Daisy... er, um, maybe wake up and NOTICE Daisy? (How could you not???)
This girl is just a DOLL. She has personality PLUS. She is feisty. She is fun. She is lovable, and oh, SO snuggable.
Daisy wasn't always such a happy girl though. In fact, her early life included MUCH neglect. She has never looked back since rescue and is now a happy, healthy girl with a little heart of gold!
Daisy loves to play with toys, romp with her canine foster siblings, and spend time "exploring" her yard. Yes, true to "beagle form", that nose is always to the ground. Daisy would LOVE to have a fenced yard in her new home where she could continue to be on "beagle patrol". :-)
Of course, Daisy isn't all about the great outdoors. She loves to snuggle... with her humans and her canine "siblings". And she is OH, SO SNUGGABLE!
Daisy LOVES other dogs and we think she would do best in a home with an outgoing dog for a buddy. We have not tested Daisy with cats but can do so if requested.
Daisy has developed some shyness as a result of her early neglect. She is very nervous in public settings/situations but warms up quickly in private household situations. (She has gotten to visit some of our volunteers!!) She will need a family who is understanding of her nervousness and won't force her into these situations that frighten her. We will also provide information and resources on how to help Daisy learn to be more confident.
Because of Daisy's shyness, we will not place her in a home with young children.
Ultimately, Daisy just wants a home where she will get tons of attention and TLC. (Admittedly, she has been a 'bit' spoiled with us because she is just so cute!.) So, if Daisy touches your heart the way she does ours, please consider this girl for your family.
* Needs a socially outgoing canine companion
* Preference for a fenced yard
* No young children
